Hello world! 
How was everyone’s weekend? Great I hope! Are you ready for a most wonderful new week? I sure am and you should be, too!
We pretty much stayed at home on Saturday and Sunday except for mass, lunch at First Chinese Barbecue and some grocery shopping on Sunday. We watched a few free movies on the Showtime On-Demand channel, like E.T., which Abby seemd to have found interesting, and Rocky V, which almost put me to sleep. :) I was finally able to fold 2-weeks worth of laundry (Hey, don’t judge me! :P) and moved our cold-weather clothes waaaaay up the top shelf of our closet. What else? That’s it I guess. We’ve been limiting our lakwatsa so we can save up for a bigger lakwatsa in July when Abby’s on school break. We’ll see how it goes. :D I’m looking forward to this coming weekend, which is a long weekend, Monday being Memorial Day. Maybe we’ll go out for some sun…well, there’s actually A LOT of sun here already and visit Sea World perhaps. We haven’t been there in a while. Yeah, right! Hahaha! Hopefully, I’ll have a more interesting weekend story to share with you next week.

Hubby was wearing his usual sleeveless pampabahay shirt one day, which prompted this conversation between Abby and me…
Me: Abby is daddy sexy?
Abby: No, he’s pogi. You’re sexy and I’m sexy. Not daddy. (I just love my daughter. She doesn’t lie. Hahaha! Abby seems to associate the word sexy to girls only.)
Me: Boys can be sexy, too. What does “pogi” mean?
Abby: I dunno (Abby smiles sheepishly and shrugs her shoulders.)
Me: Pogi means handsome.
Abby: Like the handsome prince!
Me: Who’s the handsome prince?
Abby: Prince Charming.

Joe and Steve of Blue’s Clues
One afternoon after Abby’s nap, she requested to watch Blue’s Clues, which we have on the Kids On-Demand channel…
Abby: Mommy, I want to watch Blue’s Clues.
Me: Ok.
Abby: I want Joe.
Me: Not Steve? Why do you want Joe?
Abby: Because Joe’s pogi.
What do I reply to that? Nothing.

Last week while watching American Idol’s elimination night, Abby exclaims, “Yes!” when Ryan Seacrest announced that Syesha Mercado will not be in the finals, which meant an all-David showdown for the finals.
Me: Who do you want to win, David Archuleta or David Cook.
Abby: David Cook.
Me: Why?
Abby: Because he’s pogi. (But you already know that’s what she’ll say. )

You know what they say, kid’s don’t lie, specially when it comes to beauty. They are an adult’s self-esteem’s worst enemy, if I may say so myself. Hahaha!
