My blog is 3 years old today! Wiiii! I won’t bore you with the details of how it all started. Hee hee. Let’s just get right on with the partying. Here, grab some brownies…

How about we play a game? Of course there are prizes. I’ve got a few here waiting to be given away. But they’re not quite finished yet so you can’t take a peek. They’re not much really, but still, they make a nice present. ;)
First, a little backgrounder on the prizes. My crafty friend, Odette, had a snail mail project at her site not too long ago. She loves to write, and I mean with her hand, so she asked her readers if they wanted to receive mail via the old fashioned way. So I told Odette I wanted one. A week or two after, I got this in the mail…
…with this beautifully wrapped surprise inside.
Gorgeous flatcards with envelopes! One even had my initial W and another with my cyber name printed on the cards!
Let me not forget the note from Odette! She truly is one talented and creative beauty!
Receiving these really brightened up my day. It felt so good to receive mail the old fashioned way and with a surprise to boot! So, I wish to do the same. Kinda like a paying it forward type of thing. I hope to brighten up the day of a number of people. The world can use some smiling faces!

to answer your question, sa totoo lang i had to dig deep into my brain to remember. i was already an avid reader when you were blogging via friendster pa lang, so halo-halo na sa utak ko lahat. anyway, i remember these entries of yours: your chocolate buffet, well actually your endless buffet entries na lagi akong ginugutom, abby’s first bday kwento, the beatles cd for kids, your entries about your dad, and your tribute to your mom for mother’s day. madami pa! pero halos yung buffets ang bumabalik sa akin, hahaha!
at dahil hindi ako makatiis, i immediately peeked back and i guess mali ako on all counts, kasi the very first time i commented on your blog pala was on the entry where you posted the article na featured si dondi and abby sa magazine, and where i also told you about maver’s nino being in the article with them. whew!
you have really come a long way, weng! basta, my wish is for you to please keep on blogging because the blogosphere is a much more positive place with your presence in it.

I remember landing on an entry about Abby’s words. I think Abby was a year and a couple of months then. But I don’t think that was the first time I commented. Alam mo naman ako, I am a reader, pero most of the time, LURKER mode. So feeling ko di yun ang first time ko to put in a comment. I think nasa wordpress ka na nung nagcomment ako. First time I read your entries, asa blogger ka pa.

i remember, i remember! it was an entry where you showcased one of the items you designed for your mom’s company, and it’s being sold at a store here in the US. i remember commenting about how you’re lucky you get to do what you enjoy the most.

Weng, happy 3rd anniversary… Gosh, na stress naman ako with your game. Alam mo naman na medyo 24 hours lang ang retention capacity ng utak ko.
Anyway, I can’t remember which article pushed me to become an avid reader of yours but if we are talking about when then I guess it was during my move here to the KSA… so that should be anywhere around Feb06. I remember, though, seeing a few of your Friendster pictures through Rina and Pinky.
Since magkamag-anak tayo I bra-braso ko ikaw para makakuha din ako ng card. Actually, I just want to check whether aabot sa akin ang snail mail dito sa KSA. Dito kasi sobrang backward ng mailing system that we do not even have addresses in our home. We do it via PO Boxes care of the employer. I got a mail once from Nell so your mail should reach me… the question is how long before it reaches me… so there, I am counting on your mail, Weng… ah, ah, ah… you don’t have a choice!

first off, happy belated bloggingversary (yes, imbento), Weng! you’re one of my favorite people in the blogosphere. walang bola yan. i’m pretty sure i got to your blog from Abby’s (our new yorkera hehe) and i’m glad i did.
gosh, i forget the entry i first saw when i came here. let’s see…
well, okay, i was gonna try searching for my first ever comment, pero tinamad ako. hahaha! i even opened a new tab of your blog para mag-search pero dinala ako ng katamaran. basta ang alam ko before christmas nandito na ako. at naabutan ko pa yung birthday greeting mo to the sexiest man in your life.

Hmm, last year ako unang-una napadpad sa iyo. Kung hindi ako nagkakamali ay napako ang tingin ko sa isang food entry mo, about cookies yata. Sa dahilang matakaw ako at gustong gusto nakakakita ng pagkain, ayun nagpabalik balik na ako at dahil na rin sa napaka accommodating mo sa mga new visitors. At naalala ko rin na pinilipit kitang mag foodblog he he.

NOt because you joined the meme, but because I found your entries interesting to read. Remeber when I asked for your approval to call you Mommy M? haha feeling ko nanay kita kahit ilang years lang tanda mo sakin. I don’t know, I used to add blogs on my blogroll kahit di ako nila inaadd kasi may mga blog like this na unang punta mo pa lang feel at home ka na agad. yun kalimitan ang inaadd ko sa blogroll ko.
