Abby is spicy as she is sweet. I admit that I may have consciously or unconsciously chosen to talk more about Abby and her endearingly sweet side. But I’m a Mom first and foremost, and I’m bound to rave endlessly about the qualities and traits that I love about my daughter than rant about what she does that drives me to insanity.
During Abby’s dance class one fine Friday afternoon in February, when parents were invited to come and watch, I could not believe the number of times the spice girl in Abby rose to the surface…three times in an hour long class! And I’ve got it all on video! 
My Mom witnessed all of them, too! Hahaha! Enjoy my opening salvo for this week! 
Video #1 – “Awwww!” (Abby to Natalia during warm-up)
Video #2 – “Watch Where You’re Going!” (Abby to Loren while doing “mouse runs”)
Video #3 – “Pfht!” (Abby to Ava while doing their clown dance)
Video #4 – “I Love You, Mimi!” (Abby to Mimi while doing “pretty fingers”)
During one of their exercises called “pretty fingers”, Abby’s sweet self briefly rose to the surface…
I don’t know what was wrong with Abby that day. But she isn’t typically like that. Promise! 
I did feel a tad embarrassed because there were other parents present. We all want our children to be well-behaved in the presence of “others”, right? I thought so.

siguro its because may “audience” siya so medyo nape-pressure to “shine”.
pero she’s really good at following instructions from her dance teacher ha! ang galing, hehe. and she is so adorable in her dance wear. 
the i “love you mimi” is sooo sweet. i think that, by itself, makes up for all of the spice, hehe.

Your blog reminded me of the time I was there! I terribly miss Abby and all her antics…..

she was a bit spicy on the other videos, alright, but the random “i love you, mimi!” was just so heart warming!
and btw, last night, 2 kami ni hubby na audience ni abby. super tawa pala sya dun sa abby talk ‘american idol’ thingy!

I always believe that we appreciate the sweetness more because of the spice, di ba?
Translation: okay lang magtaray paminsan-minsan basta may “I love you Mimi” (or its many variants) na kasunod – hahaha!

I think the Little Girl’s just sooo uber conscious kasi you and her Mimi were watching. spicy yet sweet Abby.
naku, mukhang magiging graceful ballerina si Abby someday. galing sumunod sa instructions ni Teacher.
