Tag Times Seven (Part 2)

By munchkinmommy

As promised…Thursday, US central time…here’s the 2nd installment of tags. ;)

oOo

#5  Thess, this is for you….“Christmas Wish List”

christmas wish list icon

The tag is very simple.  I just have to enumerate my 5 “grown-up” Christmas wishes.  And they are as follows:

1)  For my loved ones…and me na rin!:  a lifetime of continued blessings, good health, happiness, peace of mind and “plenty”

2)  For everyone in the known universe: a lifetime of continued blessings, good health, happiness, peace of mind and ”plenty” as well! ;)

3)  a more beautiful Philippines – translation: peaceful, progressive, highly-regarded, run by selfless and honest government officials, and everything else that makes a country “beautiful”

4)  world peace….really!

5)  to be a better me ;)

You are tagged if you can fill in the missing lyrics to this song: jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way…oh what fun, it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh…___!  ;)

Tag #5…..mission completion. :D

oOo

Tag #6 Thess, this is for you again, sweetie….“The Christmas Tree Blog Parade”

christmas tree blog parade

We totally have our own Christmas tree parade going on in our home.  Hee hee hee!  We have not one, not two, not three, but 6, yes SIX, Christmas trees! :D   I’ve already posted a photo of two of our tree before.  The first was the little one, about two feet tall….we have 4 others of that tree  now.  And then, the “mother tree”, which is 6.5 feet tall.  Here are the pics…

our

Our tree before there were presents underneath it. :D

our tree now

Our tree now…with real presents underneath. :D   A lot of these, my Mom will be bringing home with her to the Philippines. ;)

Then there’s a small tree in our dining room…

little christmas tree #2

and another one in front of the fire place…

little christmas tree #3, #4, #5

and three more by the stairs. :D

I can’t get enough of ‘em!  If I didn’t restrain myself, we’d have another one..or two..or three in front of our house! :D

Here are the rules for this tag:

############ START COPY HERE ############

This is a first annual 2007 Christmas Tree Blog Parade Meme created and conceptualized by OTWOMD of Bluepanjeet.Net The purpose of this meme is to enliven the Christmas spirit by showing to the world our very own Christmas trees. They say that it is on the Christmas tree that best describes how a person celebrates Christmas. So here are the rules:

  1. Copy the Logo of this meme (Download it on the sidebar and resize it that will best fit your blog or according to your desire) and post it on your entry.
  2. Take a photo of your Christmas tree inside your house. A whole shot is the most appropriate photo. And post it on your entry
  3. Tell something about your Christmas tree like who decorated it, what are the ornaments and accessories, or what is the theme and meaning of your Christmas tree this year.
  4. You can put any title on your meme but don’t forget to include this “2007 1st Christmas Tree Blog Parade”.
  5. Do the link train history. Put the link of your previous bloggers who tagged you and your own link, Example: Tag History: Bluepanjeet – “you” -

The link train will provide clue on “who tagged who” and at the same time a reference of data for the creator of this meme.

On The feast of Three Kings on January (The official ending of the Christmas Season), Bluepanjeet.Net will launch a mini site that will feature all of the participant’s Christmas trees for 2007 with a link back to their site. That is why it is very vital that you maintain the link history so that your Christmas tree will be included in the Christmas tree blog parade of 2007 and will be a part of history.

So tag now, you only have one month to spread this meme.

Tag #6…mission completion!

oOo

#7  Nell, dear, this is for you…“What’s in Your Bag Tag”

my bag

This is the bag I’m currently using.  It’s a Dooney, but it’s “neverfull”.  Nyahaha!  Get it?!  Neverfull?  Oh, forget it!

a peek inside

Here’s a peek inside.  Need a map?

the contents #1

The contents:  First row (L-R) – my red Fossil wristlet, my “old” reliable camera ;) , hairbrush

Second row (L-R) – checkbook, shades, pens & mechanical pencil

Third row (L-R) – Samsung cellphone, which I “borrowed” from my Mom.  It’s a postpaid Globe handyphone; my jologs Nokia I-can’t-even-remember-the-model pre-paid T-mobile phone; and my phone to heaven…my rosary

the contents #2

Some more contents! First row (L-R) – wet wipes; Abby’s comb, which she’s had for a long time!

Second row (L-R) – stickers, which Abby got from her last visit to the doctor; notebooks and crayons to keep Abby busy; hair accessories for Abby; and below the hair accessories…the plastic thingy, is a chopsticks attachment to help beginners learn to use chopsticks.  It’s Abby’s!; and that last item, hand sanitizer.

the contents #3

Oh there’s more!..(L-R) store receipts; Guitar Hero stickers; a brochure which Abby got from the Urgent Care Clinic; and an envelope from the Parish containing donation envelopes for the month of December

my bag's companions

These are the companion bags:  the yellow “rescue pack” and lunch bag, both of which are Abby’s.

a peek inside the companion bags

The rescue pack is usually just left in the car.  It contains a change of clothes and undies for Abby, more wet wipes, body mist and a small bottle of water.  The lunch bag has a bottle of water, a Minute Maid juicebox and some vanilla wafers.  I might buy Abby the lunch bag that matches my bag.  ;)   Bahala na!  Hee hee!  Since Abby was potty trained, I just carry the bare “mommy essentials” in my bag.

You are tagged if the color of the bag you are currently using is black, brown or white. :D

Tag #7…mission completion. :D

oOo

Whew!  Actually, I have a new tag waitiing for me already. :)   Pero, next time na lang ulit.  Hee hee!

Tomorrow marks the start of the  last weekend before Christmas.  Are you done shopping?  Well, good luck!  God bless y’all and have a great weekend…just in case I won’t be able to post an entry tomorrow. :D

thanks so much for doing this, weng. daming laman ng bag hah, at may coupons ka rin. heheheh! uy, me like the dooney lunch bag. how posh hah. you’re such a good mommy, weng. looks at abby’s bag — kumpleto!

You’re welcome, Nell! It was fun! At isa pa, naging “learning experience” for me. What do you think? Mwahahaha! *evil laughter* Thanks for calling me a good mommy. I do try my best. ;) Have a great weekend, Nell! Mmmwah!

  2. Meeya Says:

ang dami niyo namang christmas trees! pengeng isa? :D di mo ako mata-tag diyan dahil wala kaming xmas tree. :P

:) *muah* *muah*

Hi Mee!

Maligayang Pasko sa iyo at sa iyong pamilya! :)

Hi Abby! Hindi namin ginagamit ang fireplace! Hahaha! Hee hee! Gas nga pala ang aming fireplace. Corny ‘no? Gusto ko yung firewood ang gamit. Hee hee!

Maligayang Pasko sa inyong mag-asawa! :)

  4. cheh Says:
