Social Butterfly

By munchkinmommy

I just can’t believe Abby’s social calendar.  She has turned into a little party-goer.  She’s been attending parties every weekend in the last 3 weeks.  September was slow though…only 1 party.  :D   And since we’re in the final stretch of 2007, I don’t see Abby slowing down.  Hahaha!  Here’s a peek into the life of my little party girl (Meeya, may I just borrow the title for a while? :D )…

27 October 2007 – Lincoln’s 4th Birthday

Abby started getting busy on the last Saturday of October.  Her classmate, Lincoln, had his 4th birthday party at his beautiful home.  Since Halloween was just around the corner, most of the kids and some adults came in costume.  Abby wore what would have been her Hannah Montana costume sans the wig, so she pretty much looked like she’s in regular clothes.  I did bring a cowgirl hat but it was rendered useless as I left it in the car.  Hubby couldn’t join us because he was sick.  Needless to say, I had my hands full being Abby’s girl-Friday, driver and official photographer.  Whew!

swing it!

Abby and Gabby

Abby and Gabby – Gabby came in Snow White costume but had to change when the party was winding down as it was getting chilly.

02 November 2007 – Milo’s 3rd Birthday Party

I mentioned about Milo’s party in my last entry so I won’t elaborate anymore. :)

birthday song time!

It takes a lot to gather kids around, have them keep still and sing a song.  It’s the longest 5 minutes of their lives! :D

10 November 2007 – Olivia’ 4th Birthday Party

Last Saturday, the three of us headed to Pump It Up in Round Rock for the 4th birthday party of another one of Abby’s classmates, Olivia.  I love how parties here are fru fru free.  They are very basic yet the kids have the time of their lives, which is the most important thing anyway.  Just give them a place where they can play (major bonus points for them if they can jump, slide and roll), pizza & cake and lootbags, and that spells fun!

slide, roll & bounce

Abby can’t wait to roll off the giant slide so she can climb back up and slide down again.

Abby’s calendar is still free for this weekend, which I consider to be a blessing.  I’m conserving my strength for the big Thanksgiving sales.  It’s going to be one heck of a shopping olympics! ;)   God bless my hubby!  Mwahahaha (evil laughter)!

Have a great week y’all! :)

:D its so nice that abby is having a blast! dami na niyang friends (peram hehehe).

Hi Meeya! Pahiram lang…siyempre kay Ninna ang corona. ;) One of the reasons we enrolled Abby in a pre-school is so she’ll have friends. We’re really glad she adjusted really well. :D

  2. leira Says:

wow.. talagang full ang social calendar.. maski hectic sya practice yan for the thanksgiving sale.. im glad she’s adjusting to her new life there in Texas

Hi Leira! Dinaig pa nga ako kasi kahit nung bata ako, I don’t remember attending parties one after another…kahit pa nung nagdalaga ako! Hahaha! Nakareceive na ako ng mga email notifications about the Thanksgiving sales. It gets more exciting as it draws near! ;)

  3. cez Says:

Hahaha! Cruel ba? ;)

  4. Leap of Faith! Says:

Dondi, where are you? That Lincoln seems to have the hots for Abby. I’d be careful if I were you… just a tip from one father to another :)

Hi Keith! Since it’s montessori, their ages range from 3-6. And they’re all so close to each other. It’s normal for them to hug when saying hi and goodbye, or for no reason at all! :D Pero huwag kang mag-alala, nakabantay ako palagi kahit wala si Dondi. I know almost all 20 children in Abby’s class. ;)

  5. sardonicnell Says:

aba aba, etong si pretty abby eh showbiz na showbiz. lots of friends and lots of activities hah! stage mommy ka pala. parang kayong annabelle rama-ruffa guttierez tandem hah, hehehe. but that’s good though, a healthy social life is preferred. dba?

and speaking of thanksgiving sale, pass na muna ako this year. magbabayad na muna ako ng credit card, huhuhu. enjoy shopping and kisses to princess abby ;)

Hi Nell! Ouch! Hahaha! Joke lang ha. :P Pero obvious namang stagemommy ako. ;) Abby’s social life is healthy talaga! Her only friends talaga are her classmates and the children of my friend, Bet, who lives 10-15 minutes away from us. At alam mo ba, ako nga ang excited the very first time I found a birthday party invitation in Abby’s cubby. Hahaha! :D

  6. Pinky Says:

Kulang na lang ang post sa column ni Maurice (Archache) and official na ang transformation ni Abby to “certified social butterfly” – hahaha! Naturellement, dahling! ;)

You’re so right. Conserve all your energy for your upcoming “workout” para you’d get to reap all the “benefits”, diba?

    Catch you later!

Hi Pinks! Masyado pang maaga for Maurice’s column…saka baka di social butterfly ang mangyari…baka maging social climber ang dating. Ayaw natin yun! Hahaha! :P

Nakareceive na ako galing sa outlet mall. I have to map out my plan really carefully. Hahaha! :D

  7. dang Says:

wow..kainggit naman sa social life ang iyong little girl!..:) kelan ko kaya magagawang mag party..hehehhe???

Hi Dang! Huwag ka na mainggit! Hahaha!

Ang cute ng first picture, with Lincoln…so cute!

Naku oo nga, conserve all your energy at talagang mapapasabak ka…have fun!!

    love from Holland ^-^

Hi Thess! Thanks! :D Nakakatawa nga yung batang yun, sabi ba naman kay Abby nung nagbatian sila sa party, “Abby, do you have a gift for me?” Hahaha! Ang mga bata talaga! :D

I’ll be sure to remind myself to get 8 hours of sleep and do a bit of cardio for the big day. ;)

Love right back at you from Austin! :D

  9. dang Says:

syempre di kita kalimot noh..btw, me award ako sa yo..me utang pa rin ako na tag–about my computer..naka draft pa rin eh..backlog!!
pano pala kita email? me ym ka din ba??my email is danganda@gmail.com!!!tnx sis..hugs!!! ayy..i cant wait pag ikaw ang nag bake ng birthday cake ni abby! naisip ko lang!!:)

Thank you, Dang…sa di pagkalimot at sa award! ;) I emailed you also. Mainit-init pa! :D Hugs to you too! Hahaha! Mmmwah!

  10. Junnie Says:

am sure wala pa diyan ang regular “Play Dates” and appointment with friends to go to the park…children nowadays have so much to enjoy…tayo nung bata – wala nang antayan ng invitation, sitsitan lang at ayun taguan na agad….batang kalye kasi ako nun e

Hi Junnie! Hahaha! I remember when somebody wants to play with my brother, hindi sitsitan, me pumapalakpak sa labas ng bahay na parang tumatawag ng kalapati! You’re right, those days, wala ng invitation! :D

  11. Jen Says:

my gad, your little girl has more of a social life than i do! :)

Hi Jen! Daig din nga ako. At least, because of her party invitations, I get to go to parties as well…children’s party nga lang! Hahaha! :D The things we do for our children. ;)

  12. joy Says:

luuuurvvvv her tights! ang saya naman madami ng friends si abby :) good thing she’s not shy no? hay sarap maging bata ulit. lalo na these days, there’s so much that you can do.

Hi Joy! Kaya ayun, most of the time, silang magkakaklase rin ang nagkikita-kita sa mga birthday parties. :D I agree…masarap maging bata specially these days. :D
