I just can’t believe Abby’s social calendar. She has turned into a little party-goer. She’s been attending parties every weekend in the last 3 weeks. September was slow though…only 1 party.
And since we’re in the final stretch of 2007, I don’t see Abby slowing down. Hahaha! Here’s a peek into the life of my little party girl (Meeya, may I just borrow the title for a while?
)…
27 October 2007 – Lincoln’s 4th Birthday
Abby started getting busy on the last Saturday of October. Her classmate, Lincoln, had his 4th birthday party at his beautiful home. Since Halloween was just around the corner, most of the kids and some adults came in costume. Abby wore what would have been her Hannah Montana costume sans the wig, so she pretty much looked like she’s in regular clothes. I did bring a cowgirl hat but it was rendered useless as I left it in the car. Hubby couldn’t join us because he was sick. Needless to say, I had my hands full being Abby’s girl-Friday, driver and official photographer. Whew!

Abby and Lincoln, the birthday boy. He loves dogs and dinosaurs, which explains the costume. Cuuuuute!

Abby on the swing with Olivia and Parker (in the Power Ranger costume). After I took this picture I had to go behind Abby and Olivia to push them alternately, paper plate with cake on my left hand ,a dozen other things over my right shoulder and my free right hand for pushing. I need a raise! Nyahaha!

Abby and Gabby – Gabby came in Snow White costume but had to change when the party was winding down as it was getting chilly.
02 November 2007 – Milo’s 3rd Birthday Party
I mentioned about Milo’s party in my last entry so I won’t elaborate anymore.

It takes a lot to gather kids around, have them keep still and sing a song. It’s the longest 5 minutes of their lives!
10 November 2007 – Olivia’ 4th Birthday Party
Last Saturday, the three of us headed to Pump It Up in Round Rock for the 4th birthday party of another one of Abby’s classmates, Olivia. I love how parties here are fru fru free. They are very basic yet the kids have the time of their lives, which is the most important thing anyway. Just give them a place where they can play (major bonus points for them if they can jump, slide and roll), pizza & cake and lootbags, and that spells fun!

Abby can’t wait to roll off the giant slide so she can climb back up and slide down again.

Abby and Gabby are happy with their loots!
Abby’s calendar is still free for this weekend, which I consider to be a blessing. I’m conserving my strength for the big Thanksgiving sales. It’s going to be one heck of a shopping olympics!
God bless my hubby! Mwahahaha (evil laughter)!
Have a great week y’all!
