This is Flan A….
It’s a disaster of a leche flan. I might as well call it “lecheng flan”. Excuse the language.
But wait! I have a Flan B…
Now that’s redemption.
Exactly how a leche flan should be…soft, smooth, melt in your mouth goodness! I’m calling this “Leh-cheh! Flan!” My Nanay (maternal grandma), as well as my Mom and all her siblings can all make leche flan in their sleep. This oughta make them proud.
Yey me!

*sigh*
btw, since i gave my steamer to goodwill, ang ginagamit ko to make the flan ay ang aking rice cooker.
may steamer attachment kasi siya. ika nga if there’s a will, there’s a way. hehe!

Bilib na ako sa kitchen adventures mo! Talagang when it rains, it fours!
gaya ni Meeya, ako din, I’ve never met a Flan I didn’t like, as in! singit na din ako sa tanong ni Arnelli, pwedeng i-bake! Wala akong steamer so nilalagay ko sa aluminum tray and half fill it with water (basta di lulutang ang llanera), and then i place the flan container there covered in aluminum foil din. mga 45 minutes nga lang ang tagal ng luto.

hi weng! first time ko ata dito. thanks for visiting my blog ha!
aliw ako sa leche flan story mo!! for me naman, my mom makes THE best and perfect leche flan. syempre, sakin lang siguro yun
pano mo nagagawang walang bubbles sa side yung leche flan? pag gumagawa ako, normally meron (like yung sa first picture)
September 25, 2007 at 2:52 pm |
weng, aside from my microwaveble na rice cooker, i also have a regular one na mas malaki, which i use pag may medyo malaki-laking get together at malakas kumain ng kanin ang mga bisita hehe. e yung sa inyo kasi perfect sa inyong tatlo, at para hindi kayo mag-overeat sa kanin hehehe.
yun lang, dagdag.
